Wastewater Garden at the Centre for Sustainable Watersheds
Portland-on-the-Rideau
The Centre for Sustainable Watersheds is pleased to announce the installation of a Wastewater Garden at their headquarters in Portland-on-the-Rideau. The Wastewater Garden is a zero-discharge, biological wastewater treatment system that uses plants to grow wastewater away. Zero-discharge is key, as it eliminates contaminants of ground and surface waters.
