New Friends' Member Wins Maximilian Dinner

One fun activity of our recent Stewart Park Festival event provided an opportunity for new members and membership renewals to win a $50 gift certificate, from the popular Maximilian Dining Lounge in Perth. Well-known local environmentalist, Jim Ronson took out a new membership during the Festival, and he and his wife became the first lucky recipients of this program. They plan to enjoy the culinary benefits of the new membership soon, at Maximilian's beautiful location by the Tay Basin.

The gift certificate program is part of a long overdue updating of our association's membership list, a priority program for this year. A second gift certificate offer is now open for renewals and new memberships from now to the end of Watershed Discovery Day, on August 15 at the Crystal Palace.

A third gift certificate will be offered, on our website, from Watershed Discovery Day until the 15th of September, when the offer ends.

In making their gift certificate offer, Joan Stephenson-Bowes, one of the Maximilian's Dining Lounge owners commented that they have long viewed cooperation with the Friends as a natural connection, given their restaurant's location at the Basin, and their interest in supporting activities that care for the river.

Memberships and renewals may be made by downloading and mailing the membership form on this website (click here) with the appropriate fee.
